Candle Care for the Best Burn!

Greetings from the (Candle) Bar!

Today we're serving up some of our best tips on how you can get the most out of your candle burn. Ever wonder why your candle doesn't burn right? Maybe your candle burns only a portion of the wax and looks like it's burrowing straight down leaving extra wax along the inside of your jar (this is called tunneling). Or maybe your flame is really tall and gives out black smoke. Below are some of our favorite tips so you can enjoy your boozy scents as long (and safely) as possible!

Candle burning tips:

  1. Always keep wick centered and trimmed to 1/8" at the beginning of each burn.
  2. Plan on burning your candle for at least 2 hours the first time to ensure an even wax melt (and avoid those nasty tunnels!)
  3. Burn your candle no more than 4 hours at a time to prevent over heating and black soot.
  4. Keep your candle within sight at all times.
  5. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
  6. Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire.
  7. Remove all packaging before burning.
  8. Place on temperature safe surface.
  9. Keep away from drafts.

Follow the above tips and enjoy.

Cheers!
