Raising a Glass to You!

As the year winds down, we wanted to take a moment to raise a glass to say thank you.

 

Cohn’s Candle Bar started as a small family idea around our kitchen table at the very end of 2020. By September of the following year, we launched our website, and not long after that we packed up our candles and headed to our very first show (Lake George Oktoberfest, October 2021 🍻). Looking back now, we can hardly believe what we’ve built in just five years.

 

This year, we extended our in person reach to new corners of New York and the welcome we received meant more to us than we can properly put into words.

 

Seeing familiar names come through again and again, hearing that a scent became a favorite, or that a candle became part of someone’s routine or gift-giving, that’s the part that keeps us going.

 

Behind the scenes, it’s been beautifully messy. Late nights, trial-and-error pours, labels that didn’t line up quite right, ideas that worked and some that absolutely didn’t. But through all of the grind, your feedback, your kindness, and your belief in what we’re building as a family is what matters.

 

We don’t take any of it lightly. The fact that you choose to support a small, family-run business like ours is something we’re deeply grateful for.

 

As we look ahead to the coming year, we’re feeling quietly hopeful. Excited to keep growing, to keep learning, and to keep creating candles that feel fun, familiar, and a little bit special.
